Let us introduce you to the latest and greatest Onewheel yet — the Onewheel GT! It’s the absolute peak of Onewheel performance, built for adventurers and thrill seekers alike.

The GT is fast. It’s powerful. But, most importantly, it’s fun!

If like us you’re a fan of the Onewheel series, or you’re curious about what they can do, make sure to stick around. In today’s blog post we’ll be diving deep into the world of the best Onewheel yet. Without further ado, here’s the Onewheel GT.

What is a Onewheel GT?

Put simply, the Onewheel GT is the ultimate single wheeled shredding machine. It’s built to take you far and fast. Packed to the brim with beefy new features including upgraded torque, new tyres and a redesigned deck, the GT is everything you imagined a Onewheel could be and more.

If you’ve never even heard of a Onewheel before, that’s okay. We’ve created a handy guide to get you up to speed!

Tech Specs

Take a look at the juicy tech specs, making the Onewheel GT the monster that it is:

With a top speed of 20 mph (32 Km/h), the Onewheel GT will have you soaring across asphalt, icy mountain paths and rocky deserts in no time. While you might want to use all that speed to commute in record time, the real fun is had when you take this little ripper out for an adventure.

The Onewheel GT boasts an impressive max range of 32 miles (51 km). If that sounds like a lot, it’s because it is. In fact, it’s more than enough to tackle a marathon and still have plenty of juice left over to go and get snacks.

What you do with all that range is up to you. Use it to explore cities one wheel at a time, or have a blast zooming and carving your way through the great outdoors. One thing that is for certain – The Onewheel GT truly goes the distance.

We’ll be honest. The GT is a little bulkier than the rest of the Onewheel fleet. While this does mean some reduced portability, it’s not all bad news. For one, it’s more comfortable for larger riders as your feet won’t hang off the sides of the board. Plus, any reduced portability is a small price to pay for the stellar performance this beast provides.

So, how does it measure up?

Deck = 29.5” x 9.5”

Footpads = 8.5” x 9.5”

Tyres = 6.5” x 11.5”

The Onewheel GT can be all yours for just £2,200. While certainly the most expensive Onewheel on offer, any riders who make the purchase are unlikely to find themselves looking back.

New features

The folks over at Onewheel are particularly excited about the GT’s much improved torque. While previous models existed in the 2 horsepower range, the GT has a whopping 3 horsepower.

So what does that mean for you, the rider?

More torque makes an easier, more efficient ride. It makes carrying heavy loads effortless and travelling up steep inclines a breeze. You’ll also be able to easily keep your momentum going, resulting in an all round more comfortable ride.

But, we’re not just here to talk about torque. The Onewheel team have redesigned the deck with the rider in mind. With the GT you’ll find front and rear concave footpads fitted with super grippy grip tape. The shape of the footpads combined with the grip tape lock your feet into place while you ride.

The GT is also fitted with a narrower wheel, not found on previous models. This makes carving through the streets child’s play as you enjoy increased control of your board.

Finally, we have the all new, 500 lumen strong LED headlights keeping you visible. That’s 300% stronger than any of Onewheel’s previous models, keeping you safe and seen.

Who’s it for?

To quote the creators of the Onewheel themselves, “the GT is for professional fun havers.” It’s for the riders who aren’t content with just a great ride. They want the best of the best. This fully redesigned board is exactly that!

If you love trail riding, the GT is an absolute must have. It’s been expertly designed to make light work of off-road adventures. You can even get one with extra grippy tyres, specially designed for trail riding. With its 32 mile (51 km) range, go further than ever before.

Adventure awaits!

If you prefer to stay at home watching TV, this board’s probably not for you. On the other hand, if you consider yourself quite the adventurer, you’ll go crazy for the GT. It’s time to get out there, exploring the sights at high speeds on a single wheel. Just remember to wear your helmet.
